01 / LAB INSIGHTS & SPECIMEN ANALYSIS

The existing order workflow relied on stacked modal windows to manage item modifiers. These windows obscured the order, left underlying controls accessible, and made touchscreen navigation cumbersome.

I explored an alternative interaction pattern called Smart Flows, using slide-out panels and tabs to guide modifier selection within the order workflow. The concept aimed to reduce visual clutter, prevent accidental interactions, and make order customization more intuitive on touchscreens.

I built the concept in Sketch and presented it to the team and CEO to demonstrate the proposed interaction model.
